Two new ranges of ATEX approved radios have been developed by Vertex Standard, that meet the stringent requirements of the ATEX (ATmospheres EXplosibles) framework - a set of directives now mandatory across all EU member states and EFTA countries, that relate to the control of explosive atmospheres and the equipment used in them.
The VX-820 ATEX and VX-920 ATEX Series are Intrinsically Safe and certified to meet ATEX approval specifications for gas protection to use in explosive hazardous settings.
The new ATEX radios are particularly suitable for oil & gas refineries, chemical industries as well as industrial & manufacturing.
